Are we becoming cyborgs?

We humans have been meddling with our bodies for thousands of years, but now technology allows us to do things that not long ago seemed impossible. Hearing aids and pacemakers have been with us for a while, and now we have the cochlear implant, and experiments with the bionic eye. 

Even inventions such as the mobile phone are changing us in ways we didn't predict. We imagine our future as a blend of biology and  technology. Where are we heading? Is our future an electronic utopia, dystopia, or somewhere in between? 

We can't know for sure where this road is heading, but The Rise of Cyborgs and Post Human Beings panel will be fun, thoughtful, and maybe challenging.
